Cooling CT computer tomography
In a computer tomograph (CT), the electronics fulfil several key functions: It controls the X-ray tube that generates the beams required for imaging, processes the signals recorded by the detectors and reconstructs images from them. The X-ray tube in the computer tomograph, especially the anode, must be cooled effectively to ensure efficient performance and a long service life. It is also important to cool the detectors, as they can react sensitively to heat, which would impair the image quality of the CT.
